This Privacy Policy is intended to explain our privacy practices and covers the following areas:

In this questionnaire no personal data will be collected. Besides the information submitted by the user through his / her reply to the answers of the survey, no further data will be collected.
By taking part in the survey, you will be asked to give us information about your company. In detail, the following data will be collected:
• General information about the company (i.e., industry, size, position of the user within the company)
• AI-specific information:
(a) How relevant the different AI use-cases presented in the questionnaire could be for the company
(b) Whether the company is already using AI in production processes
(c) How AI-solutions where excepted
(d) Complications that arose during implementation of AI-solutions
(e) Whether implemented AI-solutions have met expectations
(f) Description of AI use-cases that already have been implemented
(g) Benefits AI-solutions have brought
(h) Whether the company’s IT department is capable of implementing AI use-cases by itself
(i) Most important data sources for the implementation of AI use cases


The collection of above-mentioned information is important for the success of the KITT4SME platform. It will be used to ensure that solutions offered by the platform in the future will meet the needs and requirements of European SMEs in the manufacturing sector.
The collected data will be analyzed and used to elicit the requirements for the adoption of AI solutions in European SMEs. A written report of these requirements will the published and open to the general public. This report will not contain any information can be used to identify the participant.
The collected data will be retained until the completion of Task 1.2 of the KITT4SME project (31st of March, 2021). Data will be deleted from the Microsoft Forms Servers following that date.


In the case that a data breach occurs and is detected, we will report the incident to the appropriate authorities within 72 hours.
If the participant’s data security is at risk, the user will be informed within 72 hours as well.


The user may at any time request to access, view and delete the information that was collected through the survey.
The participant can subscribe to a newsletter about the current state of the platform and retrieve updates. He may opt-out at any time. In this case, the participant will no longer be contacted by any unit of Ginkgo Analytics or member of the KITT4SME consortium.
